The Safety Behavioural Program (Target Zero) is an important element of the Fixing the Trains Reform. The programs vision is to match industry comparators and achieve a safety record at least equivalent to comparable systems and industry.
RailCorp is committed to improving Lost Time Injury Frequency Rate.
Target Zero Safety Leadership Workshops aims at building the competency of leadership for safety by emphasis on the role of manager as a coach, sharing safety vision and ensuring safety is kept front of mind.
The Mandatory Evaluation Criteria are:

Evidence of successful delivery of at least two safety leadership workshop programs within the transport, mining, construction, public utility industries of an equivalent size and complexity in the last five years |
M2 |
Evidence of successfully using an internal co-facilitator approach to deliver safety leadership workshops within the transport, mining, construction, public utility industries of an equivalent size and complexity in the last five years |
M3 |
Compliance with minimum insurance requirements: · Public Liability - $20 Million per claim · Professional Indemnity - $5 Million per claim and in the annual aggregate and must be in place for a period of 7 years after the expiry of the contractual term · Workers’ Compensation Insurance – as required by law |
