Transport Asset Holding Entity of New South Wales / Supply of Window Intercom Systems - 07/02002

Rail Corporation New South Wales (RailCorp) utilise Window Intercom Systems for communicating with customers from inside secure ticketing/booking offices, inquiry windows and control rooms on platforms. RailCorp is seeking to enter into an agreement with a suitably qualified Supplier for the supply of Window Intercom Systems that provide an innovative solution to RailCorps requirements. Some of the key requirements which tendered offers will be required to address are: " Provision of a high quality audio interface between customers and RailCorp operators; " A level reliability that meets the operational and risk requirements of all relevant stakeholders; " Able to support the business needs of all relevant stakeholders; " Capable of operating in a variety of RailCorp environments such as Ticket Offices and Control Rooms on platforms; " Based on standards which support a multi-vendor competitive market; " Capable of supporting new and emerging Window Intercom standards. The proposed Agreement between RailCorp and the preferred Tenderer will be on a schedule of rates basis. The supply will be initially provided for a period of 24 months, with the option to extend the supply for a further Two (2) x 12month periods at RailCorps sole discretion.
