Tender Details
RailCorp
initiated a trial of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs)
in November 2007. The AEDs have already been utilised
on a number of occasions reinforcing the need for its use in the CityRail stations. RailCorp is seeking to lease the AEDs from the reputed companies for selected CityRail and CountryLink
Stations; CountryLink Trains and a limited number of
RailCorp Buildings.
The successful
company will also need to install, maintain & remove the AEDs from the nominated stations.
The duration
of lease shall be for two (2) years with an option to extend for two periods of
one year each at the sole discretion of RailCorp.
The number of
units required has not been finalised at this stage but may be up to 100.
