Tender Details

This RFT Document is being issued on behalf of the RailCorps Metro Illawarra Region to define the terms by which the Contractor is to provide the following Services within the Metro Illawarra Region of RailCorp, these being: (i) the regular inspection of boundary fencing at hot spot locations including other areas directed from time to time by RailCorp as well as the carrying out of minor repairs to boundary fencing, as required; and (ii) the repair of major damage to boundary fencing and/or small scale construction of new boundary fencing, as directed by RailCorp, in accordance with specified repair timeframes. The services within this item also require that the contractor be on-call and be able to respond at short notice to emergency or high priority repairs to boundary fencing when directed by RailCorp. The Services have been broken into a number of separable parts (referred to as Separable Parts) within this RFT Document. Separable Part 1 represents the Services within item (i) above and Separable Part 2 represents the Services within item (ii) above. Specific technical and operational information in relation to the fencing works and services is described in Part E of this RFT Document. The Contract (or Contracts) for the provision of the Services will be for an initial period of one year from the Date of Commencement with up to four (4) extensions of up to one (1) year each, at the sole discretion of RailCorp
