Tender Details
RailCorp NSW invites Tenders for the performance of
works relating to the removal of hazardous materials from the nominated areas
of Central Railway Station, Sydney. Hazardous Materials referred to in this
Scope of Works extends to findings of leadbased paint
and lead contaminated dust only, as specified in the 2006 Central Station
Hazardous Materials Register and nominated in Section 1.6 of this scope of work
(Appendix D1).
Throughout the course of the works for this Contract, all
areas of the Station are to remain fully operational and in particular, all
data, security and communication facilities are to remain in operation at all
times.
The Contractor shall provide a complete dilapidation survey
of all existing buildings, structures, and services, before commencing work on
site, including the immediate adjoining buildings that share a common boundary
with the site. The survey shall be carried out in the presence of
representatives of the Owners of such affected assets.
