RailCorp owns and operates a large portfolio of railway depots and associated structures throughout the state of New South Wales. Most of these properties where built in an era when hazardous materials may have been incorporated in their structure.
RailCorp requires its railway depots to be surveyed as a matter of priority to determine the locations and condition of hazardous materials, via non-destructive means, and the risk such materials have on health of employees and contractors.
