Transport Asset Holding Entity of New South Wales / EOI for the Provision of Professional Services for Business Improvement Program - 2007/1421E

The New South Wales Government is currently committed to record levels of capital investment in the Sydney Metropolitan Rail Network. To deliver this investment, RailCorp faces a number of challenges in terms of engaging industry to play a significant role in delivery of assets while building its own capability to manage the overall program and deliver its share of the work. Rail Corporation New South Wales (RailCorp) is seeking Expressions of Interest from suitably experienced professional service providers for the purpose of prequalification of Contractors to carry out Business Improvement Program. As part of the initial business planning, a Business Improvement Program (BIP) of 22 separate projects was developed. Its purpose is to build on the initial successes of Asset Delivery and maintain momentum towards it becoming a successful, competitive project management business. RailCorp does not have the resources available to manage the BIP. Therefore Expressions of Interest (EOI) are being called from organisations capable of providing the project management and business support resources to lead the BIP for RailCorp, as well as deliver specific projects in the Program. The purpose of the EOI process is to allow for an assessment of the ability of organisations to manage the BIP and deliver specific projects, prior to calling for detailed tenders from selected respondents. Respondents are invited to provide the information requested in Part B of this EOI to assess their Response. As a special requirement in clause A4.3, all Respondents must submit their Responses in hard copy even if Respondents choose to lodge e-Tenders. Hard copies may be delivered to the Contracts & Procurement office on Level 1, North Wing 477 Pitt Street, Sydney - after on-time of lodging the Response as required in clause A7. Following Pre-Registration, RailCorp will pre-qualify up to Six (6) organisations for the services. The successful Registrants will be then invited to tender against a detailed Scope of Services.
