Transport Asset Holding Entity of New South Wales / Medical Services for RailCorp - 2007/1423

RailCorp is guided in health assessment requirements by the National Standard for Health Assessment of Rail Safety Workers, Volumes 1&2. RailCorp is seeking tenders from organisations for the provision of medical services to RailCorp rail safety workers, including the following health assessments and services:

-                      Pre-Employment Health Assessment;

-                      Periodic Health Assessment;

-                      Triggered Health Assessments;

-                      Functional Assessments for employee fit to a role.

-                      Management of specialist and treating doctor appointments.

 We also may separately request:

-                      Vision, Colour and Hearing Tests;

-                      Audiogram & Report;

-                      Drug and Alcohol Screening;

-                      Mobility;

-                      Resting ECG;

 We will also be accepting optional bids for the following additional services:

-                      Occupational Exposure;

-                      Fitness for duty examinations;

-                      Pre-Placement of non-Rail Safety workers;

-                      Collection of pathology samples;

-                      Vaccination;

-                      Employee absence management

RailCorp seeks to appoint a sole service provider to undertake these examinations across NSW. The term of agreement is three (3) years with two, twelve (12) month options to extend at RailCorp's discretion.
