Cleanup of dust contaminated with metals and asbestos fibres at
RailCorp Store Depot W845,
Coffey Environments undertook a Hazardous Building Materials
survey of the subject site on the 19th January 2007 and identified lead dust
contamination within the building at various locations as detailed in the
hazardous building materials register.
The work is contaminated dust (CD) removal which is to be
performed by competent persons, trained, knowledgeable and qualified in the
techniques of contaminated dust removal, and the handling and disposal of the
contaminated dust and materials with the identified contaminants.
The work shall
be performed by Contractors who comply with all applicable federal, state and
local government regulations, and are capable of performing the work pursuant
to the RFQ.
A Pre-tender Site Meeting will be held at
12:00 noon, Monday 17 September 2007. Meet at the Main Gate, RailCorp Store
Depot W845,
