Construction Works for Replacement of Railway Underbridge at Kerrs Road, Berala
The purpose of this Request for Tender is to select a Contractor to complete all construction works associated with the demolition and replacement of the railway underbridge at Kerrs Road, Berala. RailCorp is seeking Tenders from RTA pre-qualified contractors registered for bridge classification B1 or higher. Prequalification to RTA classification B1 or higher is a mandatory requirement for submission of a conforming Tender. The Contract between the RailCorp and the preferred Tenderer will be on a lump sum basis.

Ticketing System Across the CityRail Network -RFI No 08/09020
RailCorp issues approximately 100m tickets and collects approximately $580m in fare-box revenue annually across the CityRail network. At present RailCorp outsources the maintenance of its Automatic Ticketing System, ticket supply and cash collection activities. Management, software development, hardware enhancements, system monitoring and reporting, contract administration and corporate ticket sales are carried out in-house. In addition to the above RailCorp maintains an internal business unit that manages the issue of free and concessional rail travel passes to employees and others. The objectives of RailCorp for the future Management & Maintenance of its Automatic Ticketing System across the CityRail Network are to deliver: · a sustainable service delivery; · a more efficient and effective ticketing management system; · upgrades to the ticketing technology software and hardware; · reduce ticketing queues; · guaranteed high levels of ticketing device availability; and · reduction in the operational costs of ticketing services

Construction of New Security fencing for Railway Precinct, Cameron Road Broadmeadow
Broadmeadow Roundhouse Precinct (the roundhouse, turntable areas and immediate environs) is to be used for the storage of heritage rolling stock and small objects. Some rolling stock has already been placed on the radial roads for Turntable No.1 and work will commence shortly on repairs to the roundhouse (and particularly repairs to the damaged roof), the turntables and their radial roads. In parallel, site security is being improved, which involves in part the installation of high security fencing to the perimeter of the Precinct.
