TransGrid / Detuned Shunt Capacitor Installations - Q63/13

The Principal wishes to establish a three (3) year period agreement with the successful Tenderer(s) with an option to extend the agreement by a further (2) years at the Principal’s discretion for the supply of the following items:

ITEM         Description

1.                 132kV 160MVAr, 120MVAr, detuned shunt capacitor installation

 

2.                 132kV 80MVAr, detuned shunt capacitor installation

 

Items 1 and 2 are the Principal’s current known requirements. If new design requirements emerge then the Principal will issue Variation Orders including revised technical schedules detailing the requirements for the new Item(s) along with pricing schedules for the remnant duration of the agreement.

 

The supply of each Item shall include complete structural design, earthing design, manufacture, factory acceptance testing, delivery to site, erection, testing at site and the provision of all approved documentation as detailed in this Specification.

 

The Principal reserves the right to engage more than one Contractor.
