TransGrid / Emergency Management Plan - Testing and Review - Q97/06

1. Development of validation and training program(s) to test the Corporate and Regional Emergency Management Plan over a yearly cycle. This will include a programmed suite of activities over the year ranging from desktop to regional/interregional and interdepartmental/interorganisational exercises.

2. Undertake (coordinate, prepare, run, report to and debriefing of the executive management) the actual training programs as per the program(s) developed in Item 1 Aspects are to include, however are not limited to, the elements of education, skill development (individual and team), debriefing plus validation of the EMP processes. Outcomes required include a quantifiable demonstration of all participants understanding, competence, confidence of the processes as well as verification of satisfactory implementation of the Emergency Management Plans.

3. Assist with an annual review of the organisational wide contingency planning and emergency response process, providing a report (including improvement opportunities).
