TransGrid / Palisade Security Fencing - 1235

The Works include the design (partial), supply, fabrication, transport to site, construction, testing and commissioning of electrified Palisade security fencing at TransGrids Murray, ANM, Hume, Gadara, Guthega and Balranald Substations and Wagga Regional Centre and Wagga 132kv Substation (1 Portion). In addition to the above the Contractor shall undertake site survey (as necessary), geotechnical investigation (as necessary), preparation, removal and disposal of existing fencing, installation of new fences and remediation of the sites.

The program of mandatory site inspections is as follows: Gadara 132KV Substation - Snowy Mountains Highway 14km west of Tumut - Monday 10th Dec 2007 - 1200hrs Wagga 132KV Substation & Regional Centre - Copland St Wagga - Monday 10th Dec 2007 - 1500hrs Wagga 132KV Substation & Regional Centre - Copland St Wagga - Tuesday 11th Dec 2007 - 0800hrs Balranald 220KV Substation - Swan Hill Rd Balranald - Tuesday 11th Dec 2007 - 1400hrs ANM 132KV Substation - Off Hume Highway Albury on Norske Skog Mill Site - Wednesday 12th Dec 2007 - 0830hrs Hume 132KV Substation - Off Riverina Highway Hume via Albury - Wednesday 12th Dec 2007 - 1100hrs Murray 330KV Substation - Off Alpine Way Khancoban -Wednesday 12th Dec 2007 - 1600hrs Guthega 132KV Substation - Guthega Rd Guthega - Thursday 13th Dec 2007 - 0930hrs The site inspections shall commence at Gadara Substation and finish at Guthega as per the above table. It shall be the responsibility of the Tenderer to establish fully during these inspections the extent of the work under the Contract. The Principal does not assume any responsibility for deductions, conclusions or interpretations which the Tenderer may draw or make as a result of his inspection of the Site or which he may draw, form or place on data or information supplied to him by any person. (Refer Clause 2.1.6 of the Conditions of Tendering). Tenderers should note that additional site-specific detail will be provided at the site inspection. This detail is to be considered as part of the tender information and additional costs arising are to be included in pricing.
