Tender Details
The Works cover primarily the construction of switchbays at Eraring 330kV Substation. Further, there are minor works at Newcastle 330kV Substation, Vineyard 330kV Substation, Munmorah 330kV Substation and Vales Point 330kV Substation.
The Works shall include the project management, supply of all plant, tools and labour to complete the main activities covered by the Specification are shown below:
" Dismantling redundant equipment
" Construction of HV switchgear and equipment foundations
" Supply and erect HV switchgear and equipment minor steelwork
" Erection of HV switchgear and equipment
" Secondary systems (Protection and Control)
" Communications
Tenders for part of the work will not be considered.
Contract Period
The award of contract is expected to be no later than January 2008.
The construction of the transmission line is programmed to commence with Possession of Site granted in the first quarter of 2008.
The nominal construction period for the works is sixteen (16) weeks from the date of Possession of Site. However, the Tenderer is required to provide a detailed Program of Works, indicating the period from the Possession of Site date within which they undertake to complete the work under the contract.

A mandatory site inspection for Specification 1213 will be conducted on Tuesday 25 September at TransGrids Eraring 330kV Switchyard, Rocky Point Rd Eraring, commencing at 11am.
