TransGrid / Security Fence at Koolkhan 132 kV & Lismore 330 kV Substations - 1232

The Works covers the Manufacture, Supply, Installation and Maintenance of palisade security fencing at the following substations:

Koolkhan 132 kV Substation
Lismore 330 kV Substation

The Works include the partial design, supply, fabrication, transport to site, construction, testing and commissioning of security fencing at the above TransGrid Sites. The work includes site survey, preparation, removal of existing fencing, installation of new fences and remediation of the sites.

Mandatory Site Inspections shall be conducted on Site on Thursday 8th November 2007 at the following times:

Lismore 330 kV Substation - 8.00 am
Koolkhan 132 kV Substation - 11.00 am (approximately)

Attendance at both sites is required.

All prospective attendees shall register their intentions with Ms Rebecca McPhee on 02-4967-8678 or rebecca.mcphee@transgrid.com.au by Monday 5 November 2007 (to allow time for arrangements to be finalised).
All persons attending the site inspection must wear long sleeve shirts, long trousers, enclosed safety footwear and high-visibility shirts or vests.
Persons wishing to enter any switchyard shall also wear safety helmets. Entry will only be granted where a closer inspection is warranted.
