TransGrid / Supply and Install 17 Air Conditioner systems at 15 Substations - Q217a/13

The work under the Contract is the supply and installation of air conditioning systems at the fifteen (15) nominated sites as well as associated work, including but not limited to;

·         supply and install air conditioning units in control rooms (15 number);

·         supply and install air conditioning units in communications rooms (2 number),

·         supply and install air conditioning units in other specified rooms (e.g. offices & mealrooms);

·         supply and install new distribution boards for air conditioning systems;

·         connection of new units/systems to electrical power supplies (distribution boards);

·         demolition of specified existing air conditioning units;

·         replacement of existing roller doors with new metal-clad fire-rated double swing doors;

·         Remove specified control room windows and replace with matching brickwork;

·         replacement of specified swing doors with new metal-clad fire-rated swing doors;

·         seal around doorway openings;

·         install insulation;

·         commissioning of all work under the Contract, specifically including mechanical plant;

·         minor modifications to the building;

·         associated pipework, ducting, filters, air return;

·         integration into fire alarm system;

·         concrete footings/plinths and support brackets;

·         general demolition, building and restoration (grounds, walls, ceilings, etc) work;

·         ensuring complete weather protection for electrical equipment housed in buildings at all times;

·         disposal of construction waste, including asbestos-containing materials;

·         cleanup of Site, restoration of surfaces and demobilisation;

·         submission of operation & maintenance documentation;

·         submission of work-as-executed information.
