TransGrid / Removal and Disposal of Series Reactor - Q99/10

The removal from site and disposal of a reactor, its accessories and associated equipment from the Principal’s Munmorah 330kV Substation. The work covers dismantling the equipment (as required), loading, transportation from site and the subsequent disposal of the equipment in accordance with relevant government legislation. The work is to be completed within 60 days from the date of Possession of Site.

Open Tenders - An invitation to tender by public advertisement with no restriction placed on who may tender. Tenderers will normally be required to demonstrate in their tender that they have the necessary skills, resources, experience, financial capacity, and in some cases licences, accreditations, etc., to fulfil the tender requirements.

Tenderers shall attend a mandatory meeting at the Munmorah site during the Tender period to fully acquaint themselves with matters and conditions affecting the work.

The Mandatory Tender Site Meeting will be held at Munmorah Substation on Wednesday 22^nd September, 2010 commencing at 10:00am at Munmorah Substation is located at Scenic Drive, Doyalson NSW 2262.

All persons attending the site inspection must wear long sleeve shirts, trousers, enclosed footwear, safety helmets and high visibility shirts or vests. 

It shall be the responsibility of the Tenderer to establish fully during this inspection the extent of the work under the Contract.  The Principal does not assume any responsibility for deductions, conclusions or interpretations which the Tenderer may draw or make as a result of their inspection of the Site or which the Tenderer may draw, form or place on data or information supplied to the Tenderer by any person.
