Tender Details

The work required under this Specification covers the Civil and Electrical works to construct one new 132kV feeder switchbay at Essential Energy’s Manildra 132/11kV substation. The works are wholly based on TransGrid designs and include, but are not limited to the following:

·         Procurement and supply of all items, plant and equipment required to complete the works except for those supplied by the Principal.

·         Site preparation.

·         Supply and installation of structure and equipment footings and steelwork.

·         Modification and construction of substation earth grid.

·         Assembly and installation of electrical equipment and connections.

·         Installation of conduits

·         Low voltage cabling, kiosks, panels, relays and auxiliaries

·         Temporary fences and gates

·         Switchyard surfacing

Conditions for Participation

A Mandatory Site Inspection for Specification 1339 will be held on Thursday 3rd November 2011 commencing at 12.00 midday at Manildra 132/11kV Substation, located off Old Orange Road, 2km out of Manildra, NSW.

All persons attending the site inspection must wear long sleeve shirts, trousers, safety helmets, enclosed footwear and high visibility shirts or vests.  Persons not so attired will not be allowed to enter the switchyard. 

Note that tenders will not be accepted unless the Tenderer has attended the mandatory site inspection.
