Tender Details

The work under this contract includes the design, supply, transport to site, storage, construction, testing, commissioning and documentation of new 132kV de-tuned 160MVAr Capacitor installations. Demolition, removal and disposal of the existing No. 1, No. 2 and No. 3 132kV Capacitor Installation at Sydney West Substation and new 66kV Capacitor installation, demolition, removal and disposal of the existing Capacitor installation and the replacement of the existing circuit breaker with a Principal Supplied POW Circuit Breaker and Current Transformers including demolition of the redundant footings at Coffs Harbour Substation.

Additional Details / Instructions

A compulsory site inspection for the work is to be held on Wednesday 9th November 2011 commencing at 10:00am at the Principal's existing Sydney West 330/132kV Substation, which is located at 200 Old Wallgrove Road, Eastern Creek. Then the following day, Thursday 10th November 2011 commencing at 11:00am at the Principal's existing Coffs Harbour Substation which is located at Upper Orara Road, Karangi. Tenders shall be for the whole of the works specified. Tenders for part of the works will not be considered.
