The Contractor is required to design, supply, deliver, install, test and commission of replacement “Uninterruptible Power Supply Systems” (UPS) at Murray & Upper Tumut Switching Station.  At each station, the two UPS systems feed the two halves of the “Essential AC board” (EAC board).  The replacement UPS systems shall be of double conversion type suitable for a power station environment.

The Contractor is to replace the existing “Seil” UPS systems at the above locations, with equivalent or better systems.  Existing 250V DC batteries, 250V DC boards and 415V EAC boards shall be retained.

MANDATORY SITE INSPECTION

Tenderers shall attend a mandatory inspection of the Site to fully acquaint themselves with the Site and the Works required.

Site inspection for Upper Tumut Switching Station (Cabramurra) is 9.00am 8^th July 2010 and then proceeding to Murray Switching Station (Khancoban) for site inspection approx 1.00pm 8^th July 2010.
