As part of TransGrid’s program to update existing facilities to accommodate new technologies and operating efficiencies, the existing Substations Work Area at Newcastle Regional Centre is to be refurbished. At present the Work Area is a space that has developed and evolved over the past 40 years and no longer satisfies the needs of the occupants.
