Tender Details

TransGrid (the Principal) is the owner, operator and manager of one of the largest high voltage electricity transmission networks in Australia, connecting generators, distributors and major end users in NSW and the ACT.

The Principal seeks to source the market for a vendor to provide the ICT equipment, maintenance and value added services for a period of 3 years with the option to extend for a further 2 years (at the Principal’s discretion). The contract is expected to commence no later than 20 August 2013.

The Principal has identified the need to replace the majority of its current end user computer assets from 1 October 2013 as part of corporate wide ICT initiatives as well as provision of specific projects with tablet computers from 15 September 2013.

Currently, the Principal maintains approximately 1500 computers of various makes, models and types. These computers are deployed in multiple locations of the Principal.
