TransGrid / Sydney North 132kV Fault Rating Upgrade - 1281

The Contractor is responsible for the Civil and Electrical work associated with the fault rating upgrade of 132kV equipment located at the Principal’s in service Sydney North 330/132kV Substation which includes but is not limited to:

 ·      Replacement of 23 132kV Disconnectors

·      Replacement of 16 132kV Disconnectors with associated Earth Switches

·      Replacement of 18 132kV Current Transformers

·      Disposal of equipment made redundant by above replacements

·      Associated civil and electrical work such as modifications to existing concrete footings, the supply of new steel support structures where not provided with the equipment, HV connections, earthing and earth mats, supply and termination of secondary cabling between the new equipment and the associated bay marshalling kiosks, and the supply of new code labels and equipment identification plates for all replaced equipment.

The Contractor shall supply all materials, labour, plant and other items to complete the work under the contract unless specifically identified as being supplied by the Principal under Clause 1.1.6.1 of the Specification.

A compulsory tender briefing for the project will be held on Tuesday 19^th January 2010 commencing at 11:00am at the Principal’s Sydney North 330/132kV Substation, 1103 Old Northern Rd, Dural.

All parties interested in attending the briefing should notify their attendance by contacting the Project Manager, Mr Moss Mohamed on (02) 8204 6363 no later than Monday 18^th January 2010.

All persons attending the site inspection must wear long sleeve shirts, trousers, safety helmets, enclosed footwear and high visibility shirts or vests. Persons not so attired will not be allowed to enter the switchyard.
