TransGrid / 145kV & 72.5kV Outdoor Circuit Breakers Period Agreement - Q11/10

The Specification provides for the design, manufacture, testing at works, supply, delivery to site and erection on a schedule of rates basis of 145kV & 72.5kV Outdoor Circuit Breakers. 

The circuit breakers shall be three-phase, 50Hz, SF₆ or vacuum outdoor type, capable of  operation on an effectively earthed system and floating neutral system (for applicable point on wave switching (POWS) Items) and shall include all accessories and components necessary for this purpose.

The supply shall include Support Structures, Drawings and Instruction Manuals, Routine Test Reports, Commissioning Procedure and Spare Parts.

Erection of the circuit breakers by the Contractor at various substation sites is required. However, the Principal may elect to erect some or all of the supplied circuit breakers.

The Period Agreement will be in place for a three year period with two optional one year extensions.
