TransGrid / Auxiliary Transformers Period Agreement - Q10/11

The Specification provides for the supply, including design, manufacture, testing at works and delivery to site of:

Item     Description

1          11kV / 450V, 1MVA, 3 phase, 50Hz, outdoor, cable connected auxiliary transformer

2          11kV / 450V, 500kVA, 3 phase, 50Hz, outdoor, cable connected auxiliary transformer

3          11kV / 436V, 200kVA, 3 phase, 50Hz, outdoor, cable connected auxiliary transformer

for the period ending 30/6/2014 with two optional one year extensions.

The transformers shall be supplied as a complete factory assembled unit of suitable construction for direct installation and rapid electrical connection. 

The Contractor shall include everything necessary or usually supplied such that the transformers will perform given the service conditions specified and for safe and convenient transport and operation whether such thing is directly specified or not.
