TransGrid’s Corporate Data Network consists largely of Cisco network devices and some other communications and storage equipment having been purchased from alternate vendors (for example, Tandberg for audio visual equipment). Transgrid’s existing arrangements for the supply and maintenance of this equipment is reaching its end and TransGrid seeks to establish a new arrangement that provides for the supply of maintenance for new off-warranty Cisco & other related communications and storage equipment, and for the continued maintenance of all existing equipment. This contract is to be for a period of 3 years.
