The purpose of this Specification is to set up Period Orders for providing Heritage Services to the Principal. These services are required to support the preparation of environmental impact assessments for the Principal’s projects
The Principal is conducting the procurement process with the aim of establishing Period Orders for sub-order tasks of short duration. The Period Orders will also pre-qualify organisations to receive future Specifications to provide large scale or long term heritage services.
It is envisaged that up to four (4) contractors may be awarded Period Orders for a three (3) year term, depending on overall responses to this Specification and services being offered.
The Period Order Agreement shall commence on the date of issue of the Purchase Order number and shall expire three years from the commencement date. The Principal shall have the right to extend the Contract period by two additional periods of one year each by so advising the Contractor in writing prior to the expiry of the Contract and thereafter to the expiry of any extension to the Contract. The rates and prices for any extension to the Contract shall be agreed prior to the issue of any extension to the Contract. The decision to take up either of the one-year options is at the sole discretion of the Principal. The Principal will be under no obligation to extend the agreement beyond the three year period.
