TransGrid / Civil and Electrical Works Wallerawang - 1290

The Principal is extending and augmenting the existing 330kV switchyard at Wallerawang to accommodate two additional 330/132/11kV 375MVA transformers, associated switchbays, and installing an additional 132kV switchbay in the existing 132kV switchyard.

Tenderers will normally be required to demonstrate in their tender that they have the necessary skills, resources, experience, financial capacity, and in some cases licences, accreditations, etc., to fulfil the tender requirements.

A mandatory site inspection will be held on Tuesday 1st December, 2009 commencing at 11.30am at the existing Wallerawang 330kV Switchyard which is located on the intersection of James Pde and Heel St Wallerawang NSW.  Further information on the site inspection can be obtained from Charles Hitchen on 02 9620 0253.

All members attending the mandatory site inspection will be required to attend a Delta induction prior to gaining access for inspection of the Principals 132kV yard. The Delta Induction will commence promptly at 12:50 on the same day and is expected to run for approximately 50mins, there will be no cost to the contractor to attend this induction. All attendees will be required to complete the Delta Induction form included in Part 3- Attachments.

It is mandatory that all parties interested in tendering attend the Site inspection otherwise their tenders will not be considered.

Tenders shall be for the whole of the works specified. Tenders for part of the works will not be considered.
