The BCT Education Team has five major projects running in 2024, these projects include two new pilots (Biodiversity Opportunities and Land Libraries) which are now requiring more input than expected given the needs of Regional Delivery and Comms to push out delivery timeframes in 2024. There are also increased complexities around data capture and analysis which are creating extra work for the team. Both these projects will provide opportunities for engagement and education, as well as improve our understanding of biodiversity and the ecological benefits of private land conservation. To deliver these projects, the Education Program requires specialist ecological services.

For these projects to be delivered effectively in 2024, we require additional support by a contract ecologist who can work across our various projects, working with the team to deliver high quality projects across the state.
