The project entails reinstating a section of failed retaining structures on the bank of the Murray River at Five Mile Precinct, Moama, as per the provided design and drawings. The embankment structures failed during flood events in the summer of 2022/2023. The retained embankment is located adjacent to the boat ramp and is accessible via Perricoota Road.

Reconstruction of Wolgal Lodge and Pattinsons Cottage, Kiandra Precinct, Kosciuszko National Park
This project involves the reconstruction of two iconic buildings in the Kiandra Precinct of Kosciuszko National Park. Wolgal Lodge and Pattinsons Cottage were two of only four buildings remaining in the Kiandra Precinct of Kosciuszko National Park, prior to being destroyed in the 2020 Dunns Road Fire. This project shall reconstruct these significant buildings with nods to the heritage of the site but with a view to establishing architecturally unique comfortable buildings suitable for short-term rental accommodation. The project will also include the establishment of all off-grid services to enable the buildings to maximise its sustainability credentials.

Biodiversity Credits Supply Fund – 5th Reverse auction for in-demand credits
The NSW Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (the department) established the Biodiversity Credits Supply Fund (the Supply Fund) to accelerate the supply of biodiversity credits available to meet demand from major projects and infrastructure development. The Supply Fund is operated by the Credits Supply Taskforce (the Taskforce) as part of the department. Through the Supply Fund, the Taskforce is conducting a reverse auction to purchase credits through a competitive process. Credits purchased through the Supply Fund will be re-sold to public or private proponents to meet their offset obligations or to other credit buyers seeking to buy credits for philanthropic or strategic purposes. Proceeds from the sale of the credits will be re-invested in the purchase of more credits to provide long-term investment in biodiversity and credit supply. This reverse auction is seeking credits for which there is anticipated demand in the next six (6) months and provides an opportunity for owners of these credits and prospective owners of these credits to submit a bid to sell them to the Taskforce. Accepted Bids will be selected through a competitive process.
