Tender Details
The Australian and NSW Governments have launched a suite of initiatives that will help realise the benefits of metering and telemetry, create new business opportunities, and drive economic growth for NSW.
One of these initiatives is the Metering, Measurement and Telemetry Field Program to show case the benefits of metering and telemetry in the NSW northern Basin.
The Metering, Measurement and Telemetry Field Program will install metering and telemetry equipment at selected Floodplain Harvesting (FPH) storages and telemetry on selected Non-Urban Metering (NUM) sites across the five northern valleys: Border Rivers, Gwydir, Namoi, Macquarie and Barwon-Darling in northern NSW
The successful contractor(s) will be responsible for delivering full installation of equipment by Duly Qualified Persons at each site and connection to Water NSW water accounting systems. They will be responsible for meter and equipment purchase as well as engaging secondary services such as surveyors and labour to install gauge boards.
The measurement equipment will be installed at a selected number of sites and will consist of, but not limited to:
• Floodplain Harvesting sites
• Survey benchmark?
• Storage Sensor?
• LID / Telemetry
• Secondary measurement gauge board (as required)
• Non-Urban Metering sites
• LID / Telemetry
Works are expected to be completed by December 2022.
This project is being delivered by the NSW Department of Planning, Industry and Environment and jointly funded through the Australian Government Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment and the NSW Government.
