Tender Details

OEH requires a suitably qualified and experienced contractor or contractors to undertake the design, materials supply and installation of steel walkway structures in Kosciuszko National Park at two locations:

  • Design and Construction of approximately 1,740 lineal metres of new walkway platform at Mt Lee, Kosciuszko National Park including connecting new sections of platform to the existing walking track to create a realignment of the Main Range Walk that avoids threatened Windswept Feldmark plant habitat. Redundant walkways to be removed.
  • Construction of 650 lineal metres of new walkway platform to supplied specifications on the existing Kosciuszko Walk (between Eagles Nest and Rawsons Pass), to bypass existing steps and dilapidated sections, and improve wheelchair access, emergency vehicle use and reduce impacts to surrounding vegetation. This work also includes the removal of redundant sections following completion of the new walkway platform and connection to the existing platform.
