DESCRIPTION OF THE WORKS
The Works include the following:
- Construction of walking track in three sections: Section 1 and 3 either a gravel path or fibreglass mesh path; Section 2 raised boardwalk using recycled product made from wood and plastic. All materials to be supplied by NPWS – contractor to provide labour and all tools and machinery. Note final design subject to approval by NSW Heritage Council.
Carry out the Works in accordance with the following:
- Specifications for the Construction of River Walk, Hartley Historic Site. December 2-15
In addition to the above:
- provide fencing, hoardings and warning notices;
- remove from the Site all rubbish, debris, rubble, hazardous substances and other items not salvaged or preserved;
