The Assets, Roads and Rehabilitation Unit, National Parks and Wildlife Service (part of the Department of Environment, Climate Change and Water) is currently seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) for road maintenance works within the Southern Ranges Region including Kosciuszko National Park and associated reserves.
The EOI is a two-stage process and initially seeks to determine a pre-qualified list of potential contractors. Stage two, successful qualification, will form the basis for inviting select quotations from contractors for roads maintenance works.
The primary work to be performed includes, but is not limited to: Culvert Installation and Maintenance, Emergency Works, Fire Suppression, Grading and Resheeting, Line of Sight and Verge Mowing, Minor Bridge Maintenance, Plant Hire, Post Winter Opening, Pothole and Crackseal and Tree Removal. The pre-qualified list of contractors may also be invited to supply select quotations for other minor works falling within the definition of road works, on an as needs basis.
Sole traders and unincorporated partnerships are NOT eligible to apply.
Successful qualification will allow, but not limit, the Roads Unit to seek quotations form contractors over potentially a three-year period. Qualification does not guarantee actual work.
