Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water / The Provision of Plant for Fire Suppression to the Northern Branch - NB_02_2007

The Northern Branch of the Department of Environment and Climate Change is compiling a register of plant that can be used for fire suppression. Contracts will be for 3 years with a 2 year renewal option. The plant hire register for fire suppression operations will contain details of plant contracted to undertake fire suppression operations within the Northern Branch of DECC and will be used by all DECC staff as a refernce for engaging plant to undertake such operations during a fire. The engagement of plant however, will be on a needs basis determined by fire activity in the Branch and the contract is no guarantee of work.
