Repair and maintenance works to the Ship Repair Workshop (Building 1, 1A) and Repair Shed, Building 2, Goat Island
This proposed contract is for external repair and maintenance to the Ship Repair Workshop and Repair Shed buildings only. Works include repair to rainwater goods and windows and doors and painting to Ship Repair Workshop and Repair Shed.
Works are restricted to repair and maintenance and generally comprise making good deteriorated elements and painting. Repair is to be preferred over replacement of deteriorated elements.

- Inspect for termite damage
- Repair joinery as per schedule and as necessary
- Prepare and paint all barges and timber trims
- Inspect lintels to large openings for structural integrity
- Clear all gutters and rainwater goods
- Replace corroded and missing rainwater goods
- Remove loudspeakers (2 No.) to Building 1, make good wall
- Remove boxing to previous air conditioning unit to Building 1 and make good wall.
- Remove picket fence and gate on Wharf 4A, make good junction
- Remove large signage to west elevation Building 1
- Prepare existing unpainted corrugated sheet and paint as specified Paint whole as described in schedule and as specified.

Meeting at the Thames Street wharf (Balmain) at 0950hrs
You must make a booking with the Contact Person below if you wish to attend this inspection.
The Contact Person will be available at that time to answer Tenderers queries. Attendance by Tenderers at the pre-tender meeting is mandatory and Tenderers attendance will be recorded. Failure to attend will result in the Tenderers tender being passed over.
