Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water / Design Consultancy Services for the Redevelopment of Heart of the Zoo Precinct at Taronga Zoo, Mosman. - E2007.022

The engagement calls for design consultancy services for the development of Heart of the Zoo Precinct at Taronga Zoo. Project requirements include aspects relating to visitor space, animal exhibit space, animal holding and staff areas, and built style, also incorporating interpretation and education elements.

The services under this Agreement includes architectural, structural, civil, electrical, hydraulic, landscape architectural, interpretation and visitor experience and BCA consultancy services to prepare and deliver documentation that is suitable for calling tenders and amendments/addenda required for the issue of a contract set of documentation suitable for construction at Taronga Zoo.

The consultant team is to thoroughly review all available documentation including any briefs produced by the Zoological Parks Board of NSW and significant heritage briefs as part of the fee proposal submission and engagement.

Pre-Qualified / Invited - Only those directly invited to tender, may obtain an RFT for the purpose of lodging a tender response. Generally an invitation from a pre-qualified register of approved tenderers who have the ability to undertake the particular work or type of work proposed, a limited number of service providers are known to carry out the work or service (or in emergency or other restricted situations). Tenderers have usually been pre-qualified, accredited, or selected for the type of work and financial range. Competitive bids called from a standing offer (panel / period) contracts would also use this type.
