Planning and design consultancy services are required for the redevelopment of the Obley Road entry precinct of Western Plains Zoo, Dubbo. A new and refurbished building complex with external areas, services and infrastructure is to be designed and then constructed.
The scope of this tender document refers to the planning, design and subsequent contract administration support for this redevelopment project.
The zone designated for redevelopment comprises the existing building complex, landscaped and car park areas in the vicinity of the Obley Road entry. This includes the existing Savannah building which houses the kiosk, cafe, function centre, commercial kitchen, shop, first aid room and amenities. The functions to be accommodated include retail, ticketing, information, kiosk, cafe, toilets and showers, function centre and commercial kitchen.
