The Wattamolla Visitor Precinct (WVP) is one of the most popular destinations within Royal National Park (RNP), attracting more than 300,000 visitors annually and up to 3,000 daily during the summer peak period (Attachment 1).

The NPWS is undertaking a series of staged works to better match the sites environmental values and infrastructure constraints with stakeholder and visitor expectations.  The upgrade of the two amenities blocks is the first part of these works.  Other upgrades that are scheduled over the coming years include new picnic shelters and BBQ’s, viewing platforms, improved vehicle parking and pedestrian safety measures.
