Design and Construct Artesian Water Bores
As part of the Improving Greater Artesian Basin Drought Resilience (IGABDR) program, these proposed works will include the design and construction of new artesian bores and headworks across four (4) sites. It includes the decommissioning of existing bores on completion of the new bores and to provide temporary connection of the new bore to existing infrastructure associated with the existing bore to be decommissioned.

Lord Howe Island Road Network Upgrade
The Lord Howe Island Road network upgrade project consists of repair and minor upgrades to multiple road sections totalling approximately 4.1km in length. The range of repair work will include overlay, cement stabilisation, 150mm depth reconstruction and 300mm depth reconstruction. There are areas requiring minor widening and minor raising. The island is located approximately 600km east of Port Macquarie (NSW). Supply and delivery of materials and equipment to the island is constrained by limited transport options which requires planning and lead time. Accommodation options are also limited, particularly during the high tourism periods. The island has World Heritage status and impact on vegetation and wildlife will also be a critical consideration. Construction timeframes and methodology will need to consider bird nesting periods and habits. The road system on Lord Howe Island caters mostly for light traffic and roads are generally narrow, typically 3- to 6-metre-wide seal, with often limited shoulder width. In many areas they are bounded by sensitive, environmentally protected vegetation. The roads are shared by vehicles, cyclists and pedestrians.

NSW Climate Change Opportunity and Risk Assessment Project
An assessment to identify priority state-level climate change related risks and opportunities to inform development of a state adaptation action plan as specified in NSW the Climate Change Adaptation Strategy. The assessment of risks and opportunities to inform adaptation (and an orderly transition to a low carbon economy) for the jurisdiction of NSW (including marine parks and coastal waters) out to 2100 for the NSW economy, society and environment from the current and future effects of climate change. The assessment will consider physical, transition and liability risks for climate related acute shocks and climate-related long term and episodic stresses or trends in climactic conditions. There will also be a method for Aboriginal engagement to set priorities for the state adaptation plan from a perspective that incorporates Aboriginal knowledge and embeds an Aboriginal voice in the assessment process.
