Storytelling and Interpretation Strategy for Kurnell Precinct, Kamay Botany Bay National Park
The Agency seeks proposals for the supply of a storytelling and interpretation plan for the Kurnell Precinct, Kamay Botany Bay National Park (KBBNP) as further described in the Statement of Requirements. The Master Plan describes four themes for interpretation – LIVING, JOURNEY, PLENTY, REMEMBERING. Page 12 of the plan details a high-level interpretation strategy, which is conceptual in nature. In addition to the elements described in the Master Plan, three sculptural installations have been selected for delivery along the foreshore of the park to commemorative 250 years from the meeting of Aboriginal Australians and the crew of HMB Endeavour in April 1770 . The purpose of this project is to investigate and present opportunities to enhance the visitor experience at this highly-visited precinct through the production of an Interpretation Plan for the precinct, developing a detailed interpretation plan consistent with the concepts developed in the Master Plan. A mandatory site visit will be required prior to submission of a tender and prior acceptance of a proposal. Please arrange a suitable day and time with the Contact Officer.

To engage a suitably qualified contractor for Hydrographic Surveying Services for the Tweed River Entrance Sand Bypassing Project (TRESBP), otherwise known as Tweed Sand Bypassing. This project requires regular surveying of the upper beach, active surf zones and offshore areas from Fingal Head in NSW to Currumbin in QLD. These hydrographic surveys are for the purpose of mapping and monitoring of coastal processes.
