Billabong Creek hydraulic modelling services (BIL_FMP2)
The scope can broadly be defined as: • Update the existing hydraulic models to ensure that they accurately represent the inundation of land on the floodplains for nominated design flood scenarios • Where required in ungauged catchments, complete hydrological modelling to generate inputs for the hydraulic models • The calibration, accuracy and precision of the model/s is to be documented to allow the department and stakeholders to make informed decisions about the delineation of floodway networks and resultant management zones in the respective floodplain management plans • Provide modelling outputs of inundation extents and depth velocity products for nominated design flood scenarios suitable for inclusion in a Geographic Information System; and • Document the hydraulic model in accordance with the recognised standards including calibration, precision and accuracy as well as limitations of the model and its output.

Submerged Debris Removal Program
Parts of New South Wales have been severely impacted by multiple flooding and storms events in 2021 and 2022. These natural disaster events have generated significant amounts of flood debris in affected areas. Following the completion of the hydrographic survey program, which used sonar to identify submerged debris in flood impacted waterways, the NSW EPA is now moving into a maintenance program to deal with waste that has been identified for removal and is submerged. The surveys identified various large and hazardous debris such as car chassis, large trees, tyres and other miscellaneous wastes for removal. Specific tonnages or the number of items requiring removal is currently being confirmed through further investigations. This information will be made available to successful Tenderer(s) throughout the contract term to allow for accurate costings for each task.

Shoreline Clean-Up Maintenance Program
