Tender Details

The proposal involves the design consultancy for the redevelopment of the site known as the former Upper Seal Pools at Taronga Zoo to create a new Ring Tailed Lemur Facility that includes the provisions of a walkthrough, animal exhibit, holding area, accessible ramp, creative themed play area, water features and recreational and visitor rest area known as the Lemur Forest Adventure.

The proposal involves the development of drawings and specifications based on key phases: Pre Design, Concept Design, Design Development and Construction Tender Documentation.

The Head consultant will be responsible in consultation with the Principal's Project Team for the management of a multi disciplinary consultants team, along with managing the delivery of drawings and specifications associated with all facets of the development which is to include but is not limited to:

· Architectural services (including play and playground design specialist),

· Landscape architectural services,

· Engineering services (structural, civil, hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, communications)

· Playground design services,

· Interpretation design services.

The proposed scope relates to the design services and does not involve construction management.
