Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water / SUPERVISION OF REHABILITATION STABILISATION EARTHWORKS AT FORMER SNOWY SCHEME SITE BOURKES GORGE NO 1 SPOIL DUMP - DECCW-914-2010

Over the period November 2009 to February 2010 the Department of Environment, Climate Change & Water (DECCW), through the Agency – Parks and Wildlife Group (PWG), will be undertaking Rehabilitation Works on the Former Snowy Scheme Site (FSSS) F2.02 – Bourkes Gorge Spoil Dump Number 1. The Works Package includes bulk earthworks to stabilise the site and construction of an armoured open channel to carry a natural creekline through the site. A detailed description of the Works is included in the Section Contract Works (To Be Supervised) – Extract from Tender Document DECCW-894-201010.

As the Works are located in a remote location and highly sensitive environmental area Works Supervision is a critical component to the successful completion of the Works Contract. This Tender addresses this requirement – the Supervision of the Works Contract DECC-894-2010.
