Provision of End User Computing Devices and Value Added Services
TransGrid (the Principal) is the owner, operator and manager of one of the largest high voltage electricity transmission networks in Australia, connecting generators, distributors and major end users in NSW and the ACT. The Principal seeks to source the market for a vendor to provide the ICT equipment, maintenance and value added services for a period of 3 years with the option to extend for a further 2 years (at the Principal’s discretion). The contract is expected to commence no later than 20 August 2013. The Principal has identified the need to replace the majority of its current end user computer assets from 1 October 2013 as part of corporate wide ICT initiatives as well as provision of specific projects with tablet computers from 15 September 2013. Currently, the Principal maintains approximately 1500 computers of various makes, models and types. These computers are deployed in multiple locations of the Principal.

Detuned Shunt Capacitor Installations
The Principal wishes to establish a three (3) year period agreement with the successful Tenderer(s) with an option to extend the agreement by a further (2) years at the Principal’s discretion for the supply of the following items: ITEM Description 1. 132kV 160MVAr, detuned shunt capacitor installation 2. 132kV 80MVAr, detuned shunt capacitor installation Items 1 and 2 are the Principal’s current known requirements. If new design requirements emerge then the Principal will issue Variation Orders including revised technical schedules detailing the requirements for the new Item(s) along with pricing schedules for the remnant duration of the agreement. The supply of each Item shall include complete structural design, earthing design, manufacture, factory acceptance testing, delivery to site, erection, testing at site and the provision of all approved documentation as detailed in this Specification. The Principal reserves the right to engage more than one Contractor.
