Tender Details

This tender is for Contract No. 42 / 2012 – Supply and Install Gross Pollutant Traps for Blacktown City Council with the method of payment being Lump Sum, not subject to Rise and Fall.

The works under this contract will generally include the construction of gross pollutant traps in the following locations:

1)     Main outlet to Angus Creek Tributary 1, Corner of North Parade and Station Street, Rooty Hill – Downstream of twin ø1350mm stormwater headwall (adjacent to Carpark); and

2)     Minor drainage outlet to Angus Creek Tributary 1, Corner of North Parade and Station Street, Rooty Hill – at the end of ø 675mm stormwater pipe (adjacent to carpark).

 The contract will include installation of the gross pollutant traps and all ancillary works as illustrated on the drawings. For details of works for each GPT location refer to Specification 0179bcc General Requirements (Construction).

All works must be completed by end of June 2013.

Maintenance and cleaning of the gross pollutant traps will be required for a period of 12 months post practical completion of the works.

Maintaining restored sites, for example watering of newly laid turf or hydromulch, will also be required for a period of three (3) months.

The successful tenderer will also be required to develop and submit to Council an operation and maintenance manual for each of the devices, tailored to the individual site requirements and provide requirements for standard and annual cleans.

All tendered prices shall be inclusive of GST.

Estimated Timeframe for Delivery

This tender is anticipated to go to the Ordinary Meeting of Council on 20th February 2013 after which the Letter of Acceptance will be issued and other tenderers will be notified of the outcome.
