WSROC / EASTERN CREEK CATCHMENT - DEVELOPMENT SCENARIO HYDRAULIC ASSESSMENT - 30/2013

This is the third stage of the overall project. The first stage involved hydrologic modelling of the Eastern Creek catchment for current conditions and for proposed future development scenarios. The hydrologic modelling was conducted using XPRAFTS. The second stage involved hydraulic modelling for current conditions and this established the base TUFLOW model that is available for use with this Tender. The TUFLOW model includes numerous 1D elements within the overall 2D domain. The current stage will use the results and models from the previous stages to determine flooding conditions for the various development scenarios described and assess any impacts. This will include reviewing previous modelling, updating and amending previous models and landforms as required, extracting and mapping results including flood levels and hazards for a range of scenarios. The objective of this study is to provide flood modelling and mapping for the significant creeks within the Eastern Creek catchment that can be used to set flood planning levels and controls and identify any areas where additional or amended management strategies may be required.

Addendum 1.

A request has been made for a polygon showing the extent of the area to be modelled.  Attached is the polygon in MapInfo format. You will require MapInfo software to open these 2 files.
