Tender Details

Katoomba Town Centre Arcade Stage 2 Building Works.

Council is seeking an experienced Construction Contractor to undertake the alterations to the Old Katoomba library at 81-83 Katoomba Street, Katoomba in the Blue Mountains.

Stage 1 of the Civic Centre upgrade was completed 14 months ago. With the completion of the new Cultural Centre and relocation of the library to the new facility it provides Council with an opportunity to undertake stage 2 of the upgrade which includes the redevelopment of the old Library. Detailed design has been completed for the upgrade which also addresses water penetration issues at the base of the external glass façade including new waterproofing detail for all exposed external area surrounding the old Library footpath. The DA for the works has been previously lodged and approved by Council.
