This tender is for Contract No. 6/2014 – Stabilisation of Road Pavements for Blacktown City Council with the method of payment being Schedule of Rates subject to Rise and Fall in costs after a specified period has elapsed.

The work under this contract shall include, but not be limited to, the following:: • Location and protection of public utilities and services. • Lowering of public utilities and services when required. • Provision of satisfactory traffic control and erosion and sediment control during the work • Carrying out required tests to determine stabilising agents. • Cold milling of the specified depth of the top layer of the existing pavement to the required level. • Supply of stabilising agents. • Spreading and mixing of stabilising agents with the insitu material to achieve the specified percentage and depth of stabilisation using approved equipment. • Compaction and trimming of the stabilised material to a smooth and even finish. • Removal and disposal of all excess material. • Curing the full area of stabilised pavement for a period of up to four (4) days after its final compaction or until sealed. • Replacement of kerb and gutter when required. • Provide single coat bitumen seal over the stabilised surface. All works will be within Blacktown City Council area.
