Tender Details

Council is calling for Tender responses from suitably qualified Contractors to construct the sand stone bank stabilization retaing wall on eighter side of the Duck River Tributary and Bridge Installation.

The existing river bank abutment has been eroded due to the various storm events. Also the existing bridge is not in good order for its purpose. Therefore it is proposed to stabilize the banks and install a new longer and wider bridge.

The proposed work involves:

Removal of the existing bridge and relocating up stream to provide a temporary access

Supply and construct the Sand stone retaining walls to the design details.

Design and construct footings for the proposed bridge without removing existing bridge support.

Install the bridge to the manufactures specifications.

Note that the proposed bridge approximately 5.5 tonnes and has a live loading capacity of 15 tonnes.
